About Us

 

The Research and Development (R&D) center of Tabriz Petrochemical Complex(TPC) was found in 1999 aiming to research and develop TPC,S competitive potentials in markets and have insisted on upgrading product features to provide excellence and value to consumers. Upgrading all of our selling products to achieve their most excellent conditions has been our ultimate target.

TPC has coordinated a R&D team of the top researchers in the field which has had an amazing growth record. Mature product specialization have made the TPC research center an industrial leader in manufacturing technology for styrenic series including: ABS, HIPS, GPPS and EPS resins which have played a decisive role in national manufacturing. The TPC research center has also reduced manufacturing costs and has developed methods to decrease the impact of manufacturing on the environment.

The TPC research center will continue to take an industrial leader in upgrading and transforming domestic industries, researching and developing new products and techniques including engineering plastics to expand company product range, and upgrade the value -added of products.

In order to fulfill the above commitments, Tabriz Petrochemical Complex Research Center implements the following policies:

ü  Research to identification & utilization of new feeds in order to use in thermal crackers of olefin plant

ü  Optimizing energy consumption in operating units

ü  Identification & utilization new methods for decreasing of corrosions in operating units

ü  Design and construction of pilot plants

ü  Identification & utilization of new technologies & working to achieve  to know-how production technology of new products with the specific properties based on market requirements and with the aim of increasing products value- added
